WHO ARE YOU RIDING WITH?

The critical fault finder typically has a ton of dirt under their own rug. They don't see it, and if they do, they either won't admit it or find some ludicrous way to justify it. They chop others down to make themselves feel better about their own short comings. It gives them the illusion of rising while they are, in fact, sinking into the quagmire of self-righteousness and sin. They rip others to shreds for being fickle and fake while they themselves are fickle and fake. They're simply the opposite sides of the same coin.

One prostitute sleeps in a roach motel, another sleeps in a penthouse. One smells like perfume, the other reeks of sweat. They're both still prostitutes.

Watch out for these type of people. They will bring you down. Be careful who you spend your time with. Be careful who you listen to. You become what you associate yourself with. You can easily become your environment. If you're leaning away from God, perhaps you need to consider who you're spending most of your time with. Are your friends and family a healthy influence on you? Is their gossip and critical spirit causing you to be critical? Would you be doing what you're doing if they weren't doing it? Are you led by the Spirit or are you being led by someone that gives you a license to cater to the flesh?

1 Corinthians 15:33 (AMP)
Do not be so deceived and misled! Evil companionships (communion, associations) corrupt and deprave good manners and morals and character.

Look around you! Are your friends spiritual or carnal? Are they on fire for God or are they spiritually dead? Are they leading you toward Christ and His service or do they make it easier on you to do nothing?

Pr 13:20 He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.

You can learn a lot about yourself by looking at the people you feel most comfortable with.

Open your eyes. Are you influences spiritual or carnal? Are they pushing you forward or dragging you behind?

It may be time to switch who you're riding with.

Peace. Love. Hope.
